We just had such a laugh and it will put a smile of my face for weeks now!
I just loved feeling 'normal' for a day and not having to think about anything to do with cancer.
I had to practice putting on bandages for first aid at college and that was a laugh in itself - I wasn't very good!
Nicola and I just get on so well and she just gets me! It was really nice to be able to catch up with her too as its been since the 9th June that I last saw her.
It is sad that I can't see my friends as often as I did before this all. The isolation does really bug me more than having treatment just because I've not liked staying inside doing nothing I have always enjoyed getting on a bus and doing things. I guess only 3 more months of this.
I am a bit sad because Nicola has got a job abroad working with children so she'll be leaving soon and isn't back until November time; that was the reason I needed to meet up!
I am really feeling much better now I don't have any mouth ulcers or major side effects that really upset me. I am anaemic at the moment which is making me short of breath and tired but I was able to pull through a day out without sleeping! Miracle really!
I am really surprised how quickly my treatment is going! I am nearly on cycle 3!
It's crazy how time does fly by and how things work out okay in the end.
I know I can beat cancer and I know I will be a stronger person! and it already has in a way.
I hope to be able to have more good days like today!
The pictures of my bandages! It was such a laugh!

Glad you are still doing well Heidi. Best wishes.
