I have such amazing friends!

My friend Lucy from one of my placements in 2011 with Childcare nominated me to win a personalised compact mirror and this was her reasons... It makes me feel so amazing knowing people see me in an inspiring way! It was so amazing coming home from chemo today finding it here! I won with another girl of 8 with another condition out of so many nominees! It has made my day!

LUCY CROFT... "My friend Heidi Smith is only 18 and was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma earlier this year, she starts her 6th cycle of chemo next week and is so upbeat it's unreal. Her hair is just starting to come back so a mirror would be great for her to admire her new locks in. She hosting a Macmillan coffee morning today to raise money for the charity that have supported her this year. Incredibly brave girl!"
