As you all know I was diagnosed with cancer on the 24th April of this year and I started my treatment on the 13th May!! It was the hardest thing I've ever had to take in because cancer to anyone is scary!
The Macmillan cancer centre is the best place I've ever been to - care wise they are simply great. The nurses have become my friends! I am actually now glad in a way I have experienced something so major because its made me see life in a whole new way which I think will do me good in the future.
It still does make me feel weird knowing I had cancer at such a young age. But I have beaten the hardest part and pretty early on in my treatment!
I am so happy people have seen me as inspiring and brave. I've made so many great friends from the hospital and started talking to people I never used to talk to! It's changed my life. Bring on 2014. The support and love from people has been AMAZING and I couldn't be thankful enough. Mainly my amazing family! - I wouldn't of coped without it..
I know it's not been the most amazing year but ah well. I am alive and hopefully cancer free forever. My adventure finishes completely 3 weeks tomorrow and I AM SO EXCITED TO CELEBRATE!!!! I hope to be a help to someone in the future with cancer
It really has been the most adventurous 6 months but I am determined to stay strong for the last cycle ever
Cancer isn't scary you've just got to stay strong and positive and you'll beat it in no time!!!
