But ahh I have never felt so scared to come to hospital before!
We got here about 9:30 and went up to the day care department to wait on a bed for my bone marrow biopsy. They had carry out lots of observations on me before I could have it. It came to 1am and said I was going down shortly. I got to the anaesthetic room and that was it I fell asleep - possibly the nicest feeling ever. I seemed to of had in the space of the time they did the biopsy a dream about being a banana?! I mean come on, really? Haha!
It did make me laugh when I woke up.
I was just so scared about chemotherapy and not knowing what's going to happen. I started my chemotherapy about 5ish. It really wasn't so bad... Until about 10 or so at night I started feeling a little sick and had tummy pains.
The chemotherapy stopped about 9 .
I have met the most amazing people already. They are just so nice in here and I hope I keep in contact with them. It just felt like I was in a big common room with a load of friends just chatting away. It doesn't feel so 'hospital' like anymore.
Teenage cancer trust unit is amazing :) I shall defo raise some money for these guys later on in life :)
All the nurses too are so nice :)
So friendly and instantly just become your friend.
Soooo..
If you think hospitals are scary for treating cancer; what about massages?
I was offered a hand massage yesterday it was so soothing! I shall be having shoulders and back next :)
Even my parents can have one. Mum jumped up immediately! Haha :)
So no this isn't as scary as I thought because you make friends and you just have to sort of realise you're here to save your life. :)
